OUR MOST BEAUTIFUL COURSE

Join us at the YMCA of the Rockies in Granby for the 11th annual Snow Mountain Ranch Trail Running Festival. The Season Finale to the Summer Series. 

 

This 1 day event will feature 4 events and 2 different "challenges".  Races will include a Half Marathon,10K, 5K, and 50K (Individual or team). 

Challenge yourself with our popular "Moosehead Challenge" and "Baby Moose Challenge" by completing multiple events in a single day (updated from year's past) 

Regardless of distance... these courses keep all runners surrounded by the changing colors, rolling hills, and picturesque views,  making  this location and courses still the  "Most Beautiful ERS Course".

RACE LOCATION: YMCA of the Rockies Granby (Nordic Center)

RACE PARKING: Onsite Parking at Nordic Center

COURSE TIME LIMIT: 8.5 Hours (50K), 4 Hours (Half)

SNOW MOUNTAIN RANCH IS PART OF THE SUMMER SERIES

EVENT CHALLENGES:

The Endurance Race Series has updated our very popular Moose Head and Baby Moose Challenges. In 2022, runners who sign up for either challenge will have the difficult task of completing multiple events in a single day. Do this and win our Moosehead Challenge or Baby Moose Challenge Medals.

  • Moosehead Challenge- Complete the Half Marathon, 10K, and 5K 

    • Total time to complete: 5.5 hours​

    • Total Miles: 21.4 Miles

    • Runners will be given 3 bibs, which they will need to use during the challenge. Every distance means a new bib. 

    • Use the allotted time as you will. Meaning finish a race and rest for a few minutes, or finish 1 race and head immediately back out

    • Runners will have to begin each race and cross the at the start line every time

    • Runners must cross the finish line mat after every distance.

    • You must complete the distances longer to shorter (Half Marathon to 5K)

  • Baby Moose Challenge- Complete the 10K and 5K

    • Total time to complete: 2 hours​

    • Total Miles: 9.3 Miles

    • Runners will be given 2 bibs, which they will need to use during the challenge. Every distance means a new bib. 

    • Use the allotted time as you will. Meaning finish the 10K and rest for a few minutes, or finish the 10K and head immediately back out

    • Runners will have to begin each race and cross the at the start line every time

    • Runners must cross the finish line mat after every distance.

    • You must complete the distances longer to shorter (10K to 5K)

Please note:

  1.  Your times will be calculated for each race. Your race time begins when you cross the start line. This allows runners to still podium in each of race categories. Podium results will be adjusted accordingly to include challenge runners.

  2. We will have a bag drop area that runners can store bags. This bag drop also serves as the checkpoint for the 50K runners.
