THE RACE OF THE GODS
Welcome, brave soul. You’ve stumbled upon Del Dios — a trail race forged in the sun-scorched hills of San Diego where the terrain is spicy, the climbs are legendary, and the only flat ground is in your dreams.
Dubbed the "Race of the Gods," this course is where trail runners go to test their legs, lungs, and loyalty to gravity. Choose your challenge (10K, 15K, or Half Marathon), then prepare to ascend, descend, and question your life choices somewhere around mile 5.

Welcome to the " RACE OF THE GODS". This 11th Annual event is located at beautiful Lake Hodges in Escondido, CA. Join us January 24, 2027, and take in the picturesque views of one of San Diego's most beautiful lakes, as all courses will feature dirt service roads or single-track trails, with elevation gains between 100'-2900' based on race distance.
Available distances: 50K, Half Marathon, 10K, 5K
Please note... The Lake Hodges Boat Ramp area is closed to the public during the event and all runners, staff, and volunteers will need to have a parking pass (given by the ERS) visible in their dashboard when onsite. Thise parking passes will be sent out at the same time race day details are sent (1 week prior to event)
